Welcome to the website of the Glemsford Gardening Club.  

A small, friendly, society we meet monthly to listen to expert speakers on a wide range of Garden Topics and to share our knowledge and enthusiasm for gardening. A number of enjoyable social events are held throughout the year, including a Summer Strawberry evening and a Christmas Party. We also arrange several car and coach outings to gardens that are often not open to the general public. Our growing and enthusiastic club produces a quarterly newsletter providing  information on the club's activities as well as details of any special events that are happening in the area such as 'Open Garden' days. We also try to provide members with some seasonal hints and tips for getting the most out of their flower garden or vegetable patch !

 

So, whether you are an expert gardener or keen amateur; have a window box or large garden; or prefer vegetables to flowers, we are sure that you will find our meetings welcoming, informative and fun.

 

We meet on the 4th Tuesday of the month in the Social Club, Hunts Hill, Glemsford at 7.30pm.  There is plenty of parking at the club and refreshments are available after the meeting.

 

Annual Subscription is £14. Visitors pay £3.00 per meeting.
